The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to enable the servicing of all customers and increase access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
